How it’s good to be confused about career?

Wondering how it can be good to be confused in life and that too when it comes to our career?

After all, we all have grown up listening, why we shouldn’t be confused about it. But I say: “Be confused before you end up landing in any career, question yourself if this is what you want to do for the next forty years…Assuming, few of you don’t get yourself into any trouble and live that long.

Indeed you noticed the word ‘forty years’ above, and might be thinking that the span is so long. Exactly! This is actually a long span, almost half of your life. And doesn’t it sound unreasonable to compromise for such significant thing, by following the herd or by giving up on your dreams?

Because you haven’t decided the best for your future self yet and people around you might have started saying unkind words to you, especially about your weaknesses and failures. Don’t be disheartened, dear. Focus on yourself, your future self. And then, their words appear like- body without soul.

To end this confusion, give yourself some time and ponder your priorities.

Do you give preference to money in long-term? Or do you want to have a well-to-do comfortable job that probably can not shower you with big money but allows you to spend time with your dear ones?

It is completely up to you, and you need not be ashamed of your choice. If money is more important to you here, no issues. On the other hand, if you want a little comfort in your job, it does not make you a shirk.

“People take different roads seeking fulfillment and happiness.
