Jacket

Few days gone, today
and I saw her again.

There she came, opening the doors,
doors to her heart…
heart that’s been crying,
for days and each single night.

What does her heart want?
any idea of her desire?

Words out from her mouth,
but feelings shedding from her eyes.

I made a request, to those eyes,
take a break and get closed for a while.

I noticed something draped around her arms.
And it was a jacket, her daughter wore, a day before the wedding.

Now, it was clear, just like the sky after it rains. She’s mother, who has lately bidden farewell to her girl.
